Charlie was introduced to me from a mutual acquaintance. From the very first phone call I knew he would be great to work with. So great that I trusted his expertise and purchased a home he recommended sight unseen. I would never have done this before but I felt so good about his knowledge on the area and his professionalism made it an easy decision for me. The first time I met Charlie was when he came over to look at my house. This was at the very beginning of Covid19 but before stay at home and social distancing. He was very personable and very professional. I felt totally at ease and secure with Charlie as my realtor. He went over the house inside and out, including the attic, and then left to research the city permits for work previously done. His thorough research led to finding errors in previous listings which gained me 500 more square feet His research took about three days but when he called with the proposed ask price, it was $10,000 more than what another realtor proposed. Charlie knew I was in a hurry to sell so he explained this price would make for a quick sale, whereas a higher price could take longer. He had a professional photographer take amazing pictures, put the listing online on Saturday or Sunday, held an open house on Sunday and received a full price offer by 8:00 pm Sunday evening. The buyers had a house inspection, pool inspection, and sea wall inspection with Charlie present at all three. We went over everything mentioned in the inspections and he counseled me on what to fix or not fix. He offered suggestions on how to get the repairs done and by whom. He assured me throughout that everything was normal and nothing out of the ordinary. It was all completed during the 30 days between the offer and closing. The closing was during the height of the pandemic so the title company agent was working from home. She and I did almost everything via the computer but when that was not possible, Charlie was the go between - he would pick up and deliver. He made everything work during a very hectic and confusing time for everyone. I accidentally left behind a box of papers and pictures so he volunteered to pick them up and mail to me - above and beyond typical service. If I ever move back to Southwest Florida, he will be my first call, he’s awesome.

Wow. I don't even know where to start (in a great way) From the minute we chose Charles Ruck to be our realtor he has been nothing short of amazing. We live in NJ and were looking to purchase a waterfront vacation home in Southwest Florida.
