Things to Do

There’s no shortage of enjoyable things to do in Naples, whether it’s strolling along the beach or reveling in a sunny day at the park. Lowdermilk Beach and Vanderbilt Beach are Naples’ premier beachfront parks, with miles of crashing blue waves, concession stands perched in the white sand offering midday snacks, as well as rental chairs and cabanas. At Lowdermilk, you can play a few rounds of sand volleyball or set up lunch at picnic tables while the kids run carefree on the playground. When you become a resident here, you can grab a free beach sticker for your car so you are able to go to all of the public beaches whenever you want, and you won’t have to pay for parking! Being a local here sure does have its perks!

Delnor-Wiggins State Park offers a peaceful, tropical escape off of the beaten path, plus a designated area for boating and fishing. Nature lovers can convene at the 170-acre paradise that is Naples Botanical Gardens, and history buffs can gather at the Naples Historical Society’s Historic Palm Cottage Museum, which offers walking tours of the historic district. The fun doesn’t stop there — there are also spectacular annual community events.
