Tom Potter
Having grown up in Naples, Tom has first-handedly seen Southwest Florida grow from a seasonal, retirement community to the dynamic, growing paradise city that it is today.
Tom’s father, Bill Potter, founded Potter Homes and has been building memorable homes and personal connections in the community for decades. Tom credits his father and grandfather for acting as examples of hard work and determination. Through his family’s contagious work ethic, Tom started working labor projects with his dad in between school and sports since he was young. By playing team-based competitive sports during his time at the University of Florida, Tom learned to challenge himself, encourage others, manage time, and work as a unit to achieve a common goal.
Through his years of experience, Tom understands the value of hard work and has a passion for doing all things with excellence. He’s certain that both his and his teammates’ main distinguishing factors are their committed love of people and fostered family-like culture. People are always his first priority, and he aims to always be approachable and is eager to serve anyone.
Tom is blessed to be able to work in this capacity and is grateful everyday for the projects he’s involved with, the people he works alongside, and the clients who have trusted him with the responsibility of building their family home. Tom has a great desire to continue and strengthen his family legacy, and is blessed to be doing so back in the SW Florida community with his wife and two boys.
